| Top 5 incompatible couples |
|
We've
all heard about love at first sight. More often, though, we experience
the opposite — those occasions when you see someone for the very first
time and immediately know they stand no chance of getting a date with
you.
People don't talk about it terribly much. First impressions and immediate judgements are a little too politically incorrect, aren’t they? But sometimes you just see someone, and without much thought, you know instantly that the two of you are incompatible. Which incompatible couples made the Top 5?
She spends $400 on a pair of stilettos. He pairs tennis shoes with dress pants. These two recognize each other immediately in passing. And more than likely, they'll not look twice — except for a lingering laugh. Unless he catches her off-guard, they're unlikely to exchange more than a look down the nose. But if he's willing to open his wallet, and she's interested in sharing her knowledge, these two may stand a chance. She’s all about PETA. He's purely meat and potatoes. Most animal rights activists are devoted — to say the least. And your average meat-eating male ain't about to give up his baby back ribs. Not that either of these two wear their dining preferences on their sleeves, but pair them up for just one meal and conversation is bound to become tense. So long as the food is kept on the plate and not in each other's face, everyone should make it out safely. This disparity's got nothing to do with income and cash flow. She could be up to her eyeballs in credit card debt, while he's socking away thousands each month for those inevitable rainy days. For this doomed combination, it's all about priorities. She likes all things shiny, flashy and new; he's more likely to invest his coin in a new IRA. Get these two together and frustration levels will explode as he tabulates her expenditures and she moans about her miser. Is this relationship doomed from the start? More than likely, yes. First of all, the two have little chance of sharing conversation. While she's at the gym, he's at on the couch. While she's grazing at the garden buffet, he's pouring one back at the pub. Of course, the two do explore each other's avenue at times — she'll get out with the gals and he'll lift weights on occasion. But her devotion to fitness and his commitment to casual do not add up to a shared healthy lifestyle. No matter which side of the political street this guy drives, he's likely not to fall in favor of his environmental protection gal. While she's dressed in hemp and animal-friendly faux suede, he's decked out in Armani and leather. She's organizing protests; he's sealing the fate of Alaska's remote regions. These two are not only turned off instantly, their feelings probably extend to anger. Avoid any blind dates between these two at all costs — unless you want to appear on the endangered list yourself. The beauty of attraction is that there are no rules, and some people find that opposites attract after all. Search for local singles to find your polar opposite today!
